MSP Bench 2027
Free awards for managed service providers, ranked by a published formula. Entries open 4 January 2027 and close 31 March 2027. The list is published on 27 April 2027.
Who can enter
Any MSP, anywhere in the world, with a claimed listing on MSP Outpost. Claiming is free. Enter from Your MSP once your claim is approved. One entry per company.
What we ask
Your recurring revenue for 2025 and 2026, the year you were founded, the industries you serve, your specialty, whether you're women-led, and eight short questions about how you run. You confirm your figures are true. We don't ask for proof, and we say so on the list.
How the ranking works
Three figures, each turned into a percentile among this year's entrants: growth in recurring revenue from 2025 to 2026 (half the score), recurring revenue in 2026 (30%), and your maturity score from the eight questions (20%). Revenue is compared in US dollars at the US Federal Reserve's 2026 average exchange rates. Ties go to the higher growth, then the higher revenue.
The lists
The MSP Bench 2027 list ranks up to 100 MSPs. Fastest Growing MSP, Best Small MSP (under US$1 million in recurring revenue) and Largest MSP each go to one MSP. Lists by industry, by specialty, for new MSPs (founded 2022 to 2024) and for women-led MSPs are published when at least 10 entrants qualify. MSPs founded in 2025 or 2026 enter Startups to Watch, a list in alphabetical order with no figures used.
What's published
Names and ranks only. Your figures stay private, are used only to work out the lists, and are deleted two years after publication.
Honorees
Every honoree gets an award badge for their website, press-release text and a share image, a week before the list is public. Showing the badge is up to you.
