It identified the cause and, by October 31, marked the incident resolved with vaults restored and service operating normally. You might check whether any of your clients were affected in that window.
16 Oct 2026ConnectWiseSECURITYConnectWise's Trust Center advisory confirms unauthorized access to Cloud Backup (formerly SkyKick) application credentials. The service is suspended while restoration proceeds in phases, and you'll need to re-authorize your tenant. The advisory says backup archives show no sign of compromise, but ConnectWise can't determine if any specific Microsoft 365 tenant was affected. If you run Cloud Backup, check whether you use the affected product and read the advisory.
